Eating Midnight Snack is No Longer the Taboo of Losing Weight?


Normally, midnight snack is a crucial taboo for losing weight; however, a doctor, who names Huan, recommends losing weight by having midnight snack. He claims that assimilating food with high protein in two hours before sleep can help burn fat as we are sleeping. The doctor originally weighted 128kg; after he created this method to lose weight, he cast away 50kg. “Protein-rich food enables amino acid to stimulate growth hormone,” he explained, “Then get up to promote the basal metabolic rate.” According to his menu of midnight snack, there is inclusive of egg, meat and tea.

One of my roommates eats midnight snack every day. “I just cannot control my desire of having midnight snack, however, I also want to lose weight so I tried the method which doctor suggested,” she said, “but the result really disappointed me, I get fatter.” The everyday midnight snacks of my roommate are a bottle of sugar-free green tea with pancake or chicken steak, completely in accordance with the list that doctor Huan suggested. However, instead of losing weight, my roommate got the opposite results.

How to lose weight is a significant matter for everyone in every age group. Nevertheless, having midnight snack is also an important part of one’s daily life, especially in the phase of college. Rather than believe in such kind of methods, we should control our desire of eating midnight snack. The best ways of keeping in good shape are exercising more as well as having normal three meals.

  2. I eat a lot but I just cannot gain weight. This bothers me a lot.

    So I don't know that whether mid night snack would be a taboo

  9. i don't eat the midnight snack often.
    sometime i will have my own concept that is "stay awhile and the belly won't make the sounds".
    it means that if i don't go to buy the snacks right away, i won't be very hungry all the time. :))

  12. Girls just have a weakness for dessert because they have two stomachs, one for normal three meals and the other for snacks.
    There is no way to lose weight by eating too much and without exercising. The only way not to gain weight is to control your desire for snacks><

  13. I used to eat a lot of midnight snack in high school, but now I hardly eat any midnight snack. I think it is because in high school you need energy to study. It is interesting to hear that eating midnight snack will not affect losing weight.

    There is a research that it is not lack or sleep that mainly causes fat and pinples.It is the mid-night snacks!
    However, hunger often beats our mind.
